Star Racer feature

Star Racer is an F-Zero meets Star Fox Retro Combat Racer

Whatnot Games has just announced a new retro combat racer that is heavily inspired by F-Zero and Star Fox. Titled Star Racer, this futuristic combat racing game is a tribute to your favorite 16-bit SNES games.

In Star Racer, players will engage in intense battles across the intergalactic racetrack. Players will use cunning strategies as they drift, boost, fire, and soar their place to the front of the pack. The game will also offer a lineup of distinct, rad vehicles. Each car will come with its own set of strengths and weaknesses.

It’s also worth noting that Star Racer will have a Track Editor. Players will be able to craft their own challenging circuits, share them with friends, and conquer the most daring designs. Not only that but the game will have local multiplayer with up to 4 players.

Whatnot Games plans to release Star Racer in 2024. However, there is no specific date on when this will happen.

Lastly, you can find below its debut gameplay trailer. This trailer will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to watch it.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
