Square Enix has revealed the official PC system requirements for Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis. Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis is a new free-to-play FF game that originally came out on mobile devices. As such, by today’s standards, its PC requirements are quite low.
According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD A8-7600 or Intel Core i3-3210 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics or Intel UHD Graphics 630 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750. The game will also require 30GB of free disk space.
Square Enix recommends using an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-6400 with an AMD Radeon RX 460 or Intel Arc A380 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950.
Sadly, SE didn’t reveal the resolution, frame rate, or settings these PC requirements target. It also seems like Square Enix didn’t make big improvements to the graphics either. So, don’t expect any Ray Tracing effects. At least we’ll be able to render it at native 4K, so that’s something.
As I’ve already mentioned, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis appears to be a Gacha game. For instance, Solo Content missions cost stamina and when you run out of stamina, you’ll have to wait for it to refill or pay cash. So, consider this a pay-to-win title. In theory, PC modders/hackers may release a trainer/mod to skip the grinding. And, when such a mod comes out, Ever Crisis will be a game that we can highly recommend to its die-hard fans.
Stay tuned for more!
