GTA6 in GTA5 trailer

Grand Theft Auto 6’s trailer has been faithfully recreated in GTA5

Earlier this month, Rockstar officially revealed the next part of its GTA series, Grand Theft Auto 6. And just a few hours ago, YouTube’s ‘RavenwestR1’ shared a video, showcasing a recreation of that debut in-engine trailer in Grand Theft Auto 5.

Now what’s cool here is that the YouTuber has used the exact same scenes we saw in GTA6’s trailer. As such, this trailer can give you an idea of the visual improvements that Rockstar has implemented in it. The 3D character models in particular look miles beyond what we can find in GTA5. The same goes for draw distance and the lighting.

As we’ve already reported, GTA6 will skip the PC at launch. Take-Two and Rockstar currently plan to release the game on current-gen consoles. And then, in one to two years, we’ll see the second marketing campaign for the PC version.

Earlier this week, the source code of GTA5 was leaked online. From what I’ve read, a modding team has bought that source code for $2000. Now I don’t know how that team will be using it. I also don’t know whether we’ll see any mods that will be based on it.

Speaking of GTA5, we suggest taking a look at these free mods for it. For instance, we have this mod that overhauls over 70 side characters. Then there is this Real Life Beverly Hills ModNaturalVision Evolved Mod is a graphical overhaul mod that aims to improve the game’s lighting. In August, we also shared a mod that restored all the songs that were cut from the game. And then we have all the amazing mods that JulioNIB has shared over the past few years.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
