THQ Nordic and Appeal Studios have shared the official PC system requirements for Outcast: A New Beginning. In addition, the publisher has just shared a new trailer that you can find below.
Outcast: A New Beginning is a third-person action adventure in which you step into the shoes of Cutter Slade, a former Navy SEAL known for his dry wit from the 90s. Your adventure unfolds on the alien world of Adelpha, where you’ll aid the local Talans in their struggles. As such, you’ll engage in fast-paced battles against invading robot forces.
For running the game, PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or Intel Core i3-7530K with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. The game will also require 40GB of free disk space. Plus, it will support both the DX11 and DX12 APIs.
Appeal Studios recommends using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-12400 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
Sadly, the developers have not shared any additional details about these PC specs. Therefore, we don’t know the resolution, framerate and graphics settings they target. Still, the good news here is that the game appears to have low PC requirements. Oh, and for those wondering, there is no word on whether it will support Ray Tracing or any of the PC upscaling techniques (like NVIDIA DLSS, Intel XeSS or AMD FSR).
THQ Nordic will release Outcast: A New Beginning on March 15th.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
