Farming Simulator 22 has sold over 6 million units

Giants Software shared some exciting news. Its latest FS game, Farming Simulator 22, has sold over 6 million copies. Farming Simulator 22 was released in November 2021, and it took two and a half years to reach this incredible milestone.

Farming Simulator 22 comes with lots of cool new stuff. You get to do more things and have more freedom in the game. Now, you can do things like mulching and picking up stones in the fields. They also made the build mode better, so you can add greenhouses and beehives. Plus, there’s an improved character creator, so you can make your own character in the game.

As Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software, said:

“Seeing millions of virtual farmers active on our fields is a heartening affirmation of our enduring passion, ongoing commitment to the series, and self-publishing strategy. Our unique community reflects the same level of passion and dedication, growing further each day.”

Farming Simulator 22 has also surpassed its predecessor in terms of available mods. There are over 5,600 mods that you can use in the game. You can find them on the official ModHub, and the best part is, you can access them right from the game.

It’s also worth noting that Farming Simulator 22 also supports AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation. I haven’t tested it yet though, so I don’t know whether its implementation is as good as the one we saw in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and The Talos Principle 2.

Finally, Giants Software shared the following stats. So, go ahead and take a look at them.
