ANTISTATIC STUDIOS has announced its debut title, codenamed HORNET. HORNET will be a PvE co-op tactical shooter, with a body-cam viewpoint that feels similar to the one used in Unrecord and Bodycam.
HORNET will be set in a post-nuclear continent overrun by paranormal activity. Below you can also find its debut gameplay teaser trailer. So, be sure to watch it as it will give you an idea of what you can expect from it.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting a PvE game from the people who have worked on Cyberpunk 2077 and Bioshock. I was hoping for a more story-driven single-player game. So, this game is not for me. Man, that’s a bummer. Still, it might be a game that will interest those who enjoy multiplayer tactical shooters.
Like Bodycam, HORNET shares some features with Unrecord. For instance, it will have the same pixelated censorship we saw in Unrecord. It will also be using the same viewpoint. However, the game will have a completely different art style. So that’s at least good news.
There is currently no ETA on when HORNET will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
