Paradox Interactive has released the first gameplay trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 which will be using Unreal Engine 5. This trailer will give you an idea of the new version that The Chinese Room is creating. So, be sure to give this trailer a go.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, you get to explore the World of Darkness and climb the ranks in the vampire world. The game takes place in Seattle, a city full of fascinating and sometimes dangerous people and groups. This sequel to the beloved classic lets you make choices that can shake up the balance of power.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has faced a lot of development problems. It got its first delay in October 2019. Then, in August 2020, Paradox delayed it for the second time. But in February 2021, it said it was delayed indefinitely. Finally, in September 2023, the publisher stated that the game changed hands to a new developer. As such, Bloodlines 2 now targets a Fall 2024 release.
Now while Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be using UE5, we don’t know whether it will take advantage of Nanite or Lumen. However, we can expect this game to support DLSS 2 and FSR 2.0. Again, there is no word on whether there will be support for DLSS 3 or FSR 3.0.
Paradox Interactive plans to release this game in 2024.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
