Silent Hill 3 Lakeside Amusement Park Unreal Engine 5

Take a look at Silent Hill 3’s Lakeside Amusement Park in Unreal Engine 5

YouTube’s ‘Da_Drood – Digital Art’ has shared a video, showcasing Silent Hill 3’s Lakeside Amusement Park in Unreal Engine 5. This video will give you a glimpse at what a modern-day remake of this classic SH game could look like. So, if you are a fan of the series, we recommend watching it.

This project took the artist 4 weeks to complete. As he said, he created every asset you are about to see from scratch using the game’s old 3D map as a reference. And, the end result is actually pretty great. The artist created all the 3D models in Blender, and all the textures in Substance 3D Painter.

Sadly, this video does not have any comparison shots between the original version and the remake. That’s a bummer as it would have showed more easily the visual improvements. Still, I’m certain that die-hard SH3 fans will be able to immediately notice them.

For those wondering, no. There isn’t any download link for this fan remake. This video is meant for portfolio purposes. Still, it’s kind of cool, which is why we’ve decided to share it with you.

Speaking of Unreal Engine 5, you may be also interested in these other videos. For instance, you can find some faithful remasters of Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3, which are super cool.
