A group of modders is working on reviving Cliff Bleszinski’s multiplayer shooter, LawBreakers. They’re calling it The RELB Project, and the goal is to bring back the game’s online features so PC gamers can play it again. The mod had a public test this weekend, and there are plans for even more open beta tests.
Although there is no ETA on when its final version will come out, this weekend, the team held a public test. Since this was an open test, everyone was able to participate. From what I’ve seen, this project has been live for over a year. So, if you are remotely interested in it, we suggest joining its Discord server.
Somehow LawBreakers is coming back, see below!!!

LawBreakers was a cool multiplayer game. Or at least I thought so. It had classes to choose from, an awesome character movement and a cool grabbing hook. Players could pick sides as “Law” or “Breakers” and battle in places like the boiling oceans near Santa Monica and a gravity-distorted Grand Canyon. Sadly, the game didn’t do well as it was overshadowed by games like Fortnite and Overwatch.
In 2018, Boss Key Productions admitted that the game was a commercial flop. In the same year, Nexon stopped funding its development. Boss Key Productions then attempted to jump on the battle royale bandwagon. The team released an Early Access version of this game, which was called Radical Heights. However, in a matter of weeks, Boss Key Productions canceled it and then closed its doors.
It will be interesting to see whether the modding community will be able to resurrect LawBreakers. LawBreakers had potential. However, it came out in the wrong time period. So, a F2P version of it could be something that may please some players. Not only that but Cliff Bleszinski is also endorsing it. So yeah, I’m curious to see what will happen with it.
In an age flooded with Battle Royale games and Hero Shooters, LawBreakers could be the break you might need. So, if you haven’t tried it, we suggest giving it a go.
Finally, I’ve included an older video of the RELB Project. This video is one year old, and it’s not representative of the mod’s current state. Still, it can give you a vague idea of it.
Enjoy!
