IGN has shared a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming action-packed first-person shooter, Ferocious. Ferocious is developed by a small team and promises to please a lot of old-school FPS fans.
Inspired by classic pulp adventure stories like King Kong and Jurassic Park, as well as modern tactical shooters such as Crysis, FEROCIOUS plunges players into intense jungle combat.
In FEROCIOUS, your adventure begins after a shipwreck in the uncharted waters of the Pacific Ocean, where you awaken on the shores of a deadly island. Your priority is to locate your missing brother but as you venture deeper, it becomes evident that you’re not the only human being around. Mercenaries infest the land, setting the stage for a game of stealth, strategy, and survival. Navigate meticulously crafted maps, each offering unique strategies to outmaneuver enemy patrols and encampments.
This new gameplay trailer showcases some of the dinosaurs and prehistoric animals that players will encounter. It also gives us a glimpse at the mech that you will be able to pilot.
Ferocious is a game I’m really looking forward to. However, I wished this trailer featured some more dino action. When the game was initially announced, I thought it was closer to a new Turok. But now, it seems that dinos will not be the primary focus of this game.
Sadly, there is still no ETA on when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy!
