A couple of days ago, Pearl Abyss released a gameplay trailer for Crimson Desert. And today, we are happy to share three additional trailers, packing 18 minutes of gameplay in total. So, make sure to check them out.
These new three gameplay trailers show off three boss fights. As such, we get to see the Reed Devil, the Queen Stoneback Crab, and the Staglord Boss Battles.
Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game. The game promises to have vibrant storytelling and intense action, with realistic characters and narratives that revolve around the members of the Greymane Free Company fighting to achieve their noble mission.
Players will experience the beautiful yet brutal continent of Pywel, where you will witness the conflicts and epic sagas surrounding Kliff, the leader of the Greymanes, as his mission takes him on an unforgettable journey.
As I’ve said, although the game looks great, it does not look as mind-blowing as it did a few years ago. I also went ahead and took a look at the first gameplay trailer that came out in 2020. And, to be honest, I don’t see a big downgrade. The game looks similar to that trailer. Not only that but thanks to the latest GPUs, it can now run smoothly. I mean, look at that framerate in the 2020 trailer. Yikes.
In short, this isn’t a “Watch_Dogs” downgrade. However, most of the current-gen games have a more advanced lighting system. And perhaps I’ve been spoiled by RTGI and Unreal Engine 5’s Lumen.
There is still no official ETA on when the game will come out. According to reports, the game will be released on PC and consoles in Q2 2025. So, it will be a while until we get our hands on it.
