333 Studios has released the Gamescom 2024 trailer for its upcoming horror adventure game, Retrieval. This trailer features mostly in-engine cut-scenes, and some snippets of gameplay footage. And, as you will see, it looks glorious.
In Retrieval, players will dive into a deep narrative filled with unexpected twists, exploring themes of friendship, love, loyalty, and horror. Players will assume the role of Hana Loshe, commander of a research team on the distant planet Ryhalian.
According to its Steam store page, players will experience gripping gameplay, immersive storytelling, and rich character development.
The devs claim that the game will come with atmospheric and amazing visuals powered by NVIDIA. I don’t know what that really means as Retrieval will be using Unreal Engine 5. So, will we get Ray Tracing? Or will we simply get support for DLSS 3? And how is NVIDIA powering the visuals? UPDATE: (apparently, the game uses NVIDIA’s RTXDI).
Anyway, there is currently no ETA on when Retrieval will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
