PQube and Dual Effect have unveiled 24 minutes of gameplay for their upcoming survival horror game, Tormented Souls 2. Tormented Souls 2 will be powered by Unreal Engine 5, and is inspired by the classic Resident Evil games. Moreover, it will have fixed camera angles.
This extended gameplay presentation offers a glimpse of the game’s world. Hero Caroline Walker will embark on a harrowing journey to save her sister from a mysterious affliction.
This first reveal shows the haunting beauty of the meticulously designed environments. Moreover, the devs are promising to elevate the horror experience to unprecedented levels. Or at least that’s what the press release reads.
In this game, Caroline will be able to battle her enemies with only makeshift weapons. Players will navigate a pulse pounding experience that promises to be three times the size of the original Tormented Souls.
Tormented Souls 2 also promises to have a haunting atmosphere, twisted puzzles, terrifying enemies, and a harrowing story. Players can also expect gruesome psychological horror, intense combat, relentless suspense, and nightmarish locations.
PQube will release the game on PC in 2025.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
