A new cool video from Black Myth: Wukong surfaced yesterday. This video shows the first battle of the game from the viewpoint of an enemy warrior NPC. The video reminded me of an older video, in which you can see a match in Tekken 8 from the viewpoint of an NPC. And, to be honest, I believe this is something that the devs should officially add to their games.

Seriously, just take a look at the following videos. This is a cool concept. This is something that can completely change the way you experience a game.

Now since you’re not controlling the main character, the whole thing will feel more like a movie. So, a game should not solely focus on this feature. However, as an unlockable or as a “hidden/secret” feature, it would be awesome.

Devs can go one step further and allow you to move the NPC you control. For example, in the Tekken 8 video, you could be able to move to a better seat so that you can have a better view of the battle.

Again, this is a really cool concept in my opinion. So, I don’t know why the devs have not invested in something like this.

I also don’t know why YouTubers/Modders have not done something like that. A YT channel with videos that let you spectate an entire game from the viewpoint of an NPC is a cool concept. It’s something new and unique to the oversaturated YT gaming channels. So, in theory, it should attract a lot of viewers, right?
