PlayStation 4 Emulator shadPS4 Version 0.3.0 Released

The team behind the best PlayStation 4 emulator, shadPS4, has released a brand new version of it. Version 0.3.0 comes with a lot of improvements, and it most likely includes all the custom fixes that were made for Bloodborne. So, let’s take a look at it.

shadPS4 V0.3.0 brings Cheat/Patching support, as well as DLS support. Moreover, it now has support for around 26 languages. The emulator now comes with support for unlocking trophies, as well as for more controllers (Dualshock and Xbox). Plus, the devs have made a lot of GUI improvements.

Do note that old save files may no longer be compatible with this new version of it. As such, the devs recommend following this guide before updating. So, if you’ve been playing any PS4 games with it, I suggest taking a look at the guide.

Although I couldn’t find a video for version 0.3.0, I’ve added a video from the previous version, 0.2.1. In this video, you can see the PS4 emulator running games like Yakuza 0 and Gravity Rush Remastered. The emulator can also launch Sleeping Dogs. Sadly, though it can’t play it yet. Lastly, Bloodborne has improved a lot since version 0.2.0.

You can go ahead and download the emulator from this link.

Since shadPS4 can run Bloodborne, I’m interested to see when we’ll see other PS4-only games running on it. Gran Turismo 7, The Order 1866 and The Last Guardian are the games that immediately come to mind. The Order 1866 is still one of the best-looking PS4 games. So, it would be cool if PC gamers could experience it at 4K with 60fps.

Anyway, there is nothing more to share at this point. As I said before, I’m impressed with what the shadPS4 team has accomplished. So, here is hoping that they continue working at this frenetic pace.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
