Dino Crisis fans, here is something cool for you today. Stefano Cagnani has been working on a fan remake of Dino Crisis in Unreal Engine 5, and has shared a playable demo for it.
Since this fan remake comes from one guy, it does not represent the quality of a full-fledged official remake. Still, it can give you an idea of what you can expect from it.
From what we know so far, Capcom does not plan to remake Dino Crisis. However, we might get a “remaster” similar to that of Dead Rising. Capcom has issued a survey a few weeks ago, so you never know what may happen in the future.
Anyway, this is a cool demo that you can play right now. I don’t believe Capcom will issue any DMCA. Nevertheless, I recommend downloading it while you still can. You can download it from this link.
Speaking of Dino Crisis, you can download this Dino Crisis AI-enhanced HD Fan Remaster. And, if you don’t like it, you can try Dino Crisis Rebirth.
There is also another fan remake demo for Dino Crisis 2. Oh, and don’t sleep on this HD Texture Pack for the original PC version of Dino Crisis 2.
It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first fan remake of Dino Crisis. In August 2024, we informed you about Project Crisis. And then we had the Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 fan remakes in Unreal Engine 4. Sadly, both of them are no longer available. Also, the one behind the DC2 fan remake was Cagnani himself. So yeah, download this latest demo while you still can.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
