Metaphor ReFantazio feature

Metaphor: ReFantazio cracked via its Denuvo-free demo file

Metaphor: ReFantazio is a new RPG from ATLUS that was published by SEGA earlier this month. And, like most of SEGA’s PC releases, it uses Denuvo on PC. However, its demo which came out last month did not use that anti-tamper tech. And, to the surprise of no one, players have figured out a way to use the demo executable file in order to crack and play the full version.

What’s funny here is that pirates will now have a better version of Metaphor: ReFantazio. And I’m saying this because this pirated version does not have Denuvo at all. Contrary to other games in which a crack bypasses Denuvo, in this title, we have a Denuvo-free executable file.

The first version of the pirated version had some issues like Softlocks. This is why I did not report on it when it came out. However, its latest version has fixed those issues. Not only that but it is now also able to use the retail saves.

So, it will be interesting to see a comparison between the pirated and the retail versions of this RPG. Does the pirated version run better now that it doesn’t have Denuvo?

For those wondering, ATLUS has made some improvements to both the final and demo versions. The team has improved the game’s performance. I don’t know if the devs took inspiration from the Special K Mod. However, the game now runs better than its initial demo version. That’s a big plus.

As always, we won’t be linking to pirated content. So, don’t bother sharing any links in the Comments. Still, I’m certain that most of you will be able to find it by a simple Google search.

So there you have it. A Denuvo-free version of Metaphor: ReFantazio is out in the wild. Thus, let’s hope that SEGA will, one day, remove it.

Stay tuned for more!
