Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 October 26th Patch Released & Detailed

Treyarch has released the first post-launch update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The October 26th Patch is around 500MB in size on PC, and below you can find its complete changelog. So, let’s take a look at what it brings to the table.

This first patch mostly brings tweaks and changes to the Zombies and MP modes. So, don’t expect any tweaks or improvements for its single-player campaign. The devs have not addressed anything at all. As such, the game will still crash when playing the campaign, even on high-end PC systems.

I’ve also seen complaints about DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 not working. However, both of these techs work on the Steam version (and the Battlenet version). The GamePass version, on the other hand, seems to lack DLSS 3 support. This doesn’t really surprise me as this has also happened in some other games.

Anyway, while the October 26th Patch does not improve the single-player campaign, it should at least make the game more stable in both the Main Menu and the Zombies Mode. It also fixes an issue that was occasionally preventing matches from quickly finding a replacement player in the case that another player quit the match.

Moreover, this update improves performance when watching clips in Theater. It also improves server stability in the Training Course. Plus, it increases XP and Weapon XP rates for modes that were awarding less XP than expected.

Like always, Steam and Battlenet will download this update the next time you launch their clients. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
