Obsidian has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming action RPG, Avowed. Avowed will be another new game that will be using Unreal Engine 5. So, let’s see what kind of PC you’ll need in order to run it.
Avowed will be a fully open-world game. According to its devs, its map will be “denser” and “more contrasted” at the same time than the one for Skyrim. Moreover, the game will have real-time weather and a very advanced character creation tool. Additionally, it will have a big focus on world reactivity.
The devs have stated that the PC version will support mods. Moreover, we know that the game will support both first-person and third-person viewpoints. Not only that there will be support for DLSS 3 and ray-traced reflections.
PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel i5-8400 with 16GB of RAM and an AMD RX 5700 or an Nvidia GTX 1070 or an Intel Arc A580. The game will also require 75GB of free disk space.
Obsidian recommends using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel i7-10700K with 16GB of RAM and an AMD RX 6800 XT or Nvidia RTX 3080.
Sadly, the devs have not shared the resolution, framerate and graphics settings these PC specs target. So, take these PC requirements with a grain of salt.
Microsoft will release Avowed on February 18th.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
