KOEI Tecmo has announced that a PC demo for Dynasty Warriors: Origins will be released on November 22nd. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared a new trailer for it. This trailer gives us an overview of the gameplay mechanics that players can expect in this new DW game.
In the demo, you will be able to play the Battle of Sishui Gate, the same battle as the Tokyo Game Show demo. Additionally, there won’t be a time limit this time. As such, you will be able to enjoy the demo as much as you like.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is a new musou game that aims to offer the biggest battle in the franchise’s history. Players will experience the 1 vs. 1,000 action, and the rush of massive armies.
Throughout the game, players will need to act fast as the unprecedented size and scale of enemy armies overwhelm the battlefield. Coordination with allied armies is key as players deploy battle tactics in real time while slicing through waves of soldiers.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS aims to have the largest number of soldiers in the series’ history to date. Enemy soldiers attack in cooperation and are extremely formidable. While using your own skills to fight, you must also charge forward with your allies to clear the way. Once you storm the field and prepare to fight, you and your allies will collide with thousands of enemy soldiers of opposing armies. In addition, when meeting certain conditions, you can temporarily control Guan Yu and other officers marching forth by your side.
The game’s story will be experienced through the amnesiac protagonist, who weaves through history as a solitary hero. Throughout the game, episodes of the Three Kingdoms are described in greater clarity and detail. KOEI TECMO claims that this will deliver a clear and engaging experience not only for fans of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and DYNASTY WARRIORS, but also newcomers to the franchises.
KOEI Tecmo will release this new Dynasty Warriors game on January 17th. For what it’s worth, the company hasn’t yet shared the game’s PC requirements.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
