Kepler Interactive has announced a new soccer game from Sloclap, the devs of SIFU. And, you know what? I’m kind of excited for it. You see, I really got bored with the latest FIFA, EA FC Sports and Pro Evolution Soccer games. However, this one might be the soccer game for me.
In this game, you will control one player on your team and compete in fast-paced 5v5 matches. The game will be using a third-person perspective. So, think of it as FIFA meets Rocket League. That’s the best way to describe it.
Now what’s cool is that this doesn’t seem like an unpolished soccer game like some other we’ve seen in the past. Passing and shooting feel great. At least in the trailer. It also appears to have some “anime-like” elements. You can easily spot them when the player shoots or tackles.
It’s really awesome to see a new take on the soccer genre. Okay okay, it’s not THAT fresh. If we were to be honest, it feels like a more polished FIFA Street game. Still, since EA Sports FC has lost its way, it’s at least good to see a new kid in town.
Kepler Interactive plans to release REMATCH in Summer 2025.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
