Jagex has just announced a new open-world survival RuneScape game that will be using Unreal Engine 5, RuneScape: Dragonwilds. The game will come out on Steam Early Access in Spring 2025, and below you can find its announcement trailers.
In RuneScape: Dragonwilds, players will gather, build, and craft to survive in this co-op survival crafting game. Players will be able to wield wild, transformative magic to survive and level up skills to overcome challenges. They’ll also be able to explore a stunning, hand-crafted landscape infused with magical energy in an adventure that blends high fantasy with light RPG elements and iconic RuneScape lore.
Moreover, the game will have a progression system. This will allow you to unlock new spells, crafting recipes and abilities.
Jagex has also shared the game’s PC system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 5600XT, or Intel Arc A750. The game will also require at least 25GB of free disk space.
