Wargaming revealed the fifth World of Warplanes Developer Diary. This entry focuses on the upcoming flight combat MMO action game’s core gameplay features. Developers delve into major design goals, discuss specifics of flight modelling, and shine the spotlight on interesting historical facts about combat aerial stunts and tactics.
The team also talks players through the list of upgradable modules, shares information about customization items, explains how the damage modelling is calculated and rendered, and imparts details about the variety of ground targets to seek and destroy.
World of Warplanes is the flight combat MMO action game set in the Golden Age of military aviation. The game offers a wide range of warbirds, staring from 1930’s biplanes and up to Korean War jet fighters, and lets you dive into a never-ending tussle for air dominance.
World of Warplanes is currently planned for a closed beta phase later this year.
