As we’ve already said, Ubisoft held today an investor call for the its 2012-13 earnings report. During that investor call, Ubisoft’s Alain Coore revealed Watch Dogs can sell as much – or probably even more – as the first part of the Assassin’s Creed series did.
As Alain said:
“Watch_Dogs can do probably as well or probably even better than AC1, in the target we’ve given we’ve taken quantity that are below AC1. So that’s the point”
And this is something we fully agree with. Watch Dogs looks incredible and is one of the most interesting new IPs. Yes, we’ve criticized Ubisoft in the past – and will still do if they decide to force those lovely DRMs – but Watch Dogs is a game we are really looking forward to.
The game is planned for a November 22nd release on PS3, X360, WiiU and PC, as well as PS4 and next-gen consoles (aka next-Xbox).
