In a turn of events, EA decided to pull Crysis 2 from Valve’s distribution service, Steam. The game is now available only through Origin, EA’s new digital distribution store. Funny thing is that the Steam version of Crysis 2 was quite successful and we don’t know if EA decided to pull it in order to promote as much as they can their own digital distribution store.
Does this mean that all EA triple-A games will only be available through Origin? Although there are some EA titles still on Steam, such as Shift 2, Dragon Age II and Bulletstorm, both Alice: Madness Returns and Battlefield 3 are nowhere to be found on Steam.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
