Square Enix has released a new benchmark tool for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PC. According to the company, this official benchmark software uses actual maps and characters to assign a score to your PC and rate its performance.
As the company noted, starting the benchmark will cause a cut scene to play. Once the cut scene has completed, a score will be displayed. The score represents how well Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is estimated to run on your PC. Those with a score higher than 7000 will be capable of running the game on the highest settings with ease.
Even though Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a DX9.0c title, it does not support Windows XP. This obviously means that PC gamers are required to have Windows Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8 in order to run the benchmark.
