Well, this will certainly interest a lot of gamers that are looking into game development. Experts from studios like Bungie, 343 Industries, CD Projekt RED and Unity will be accompanied by the likes of Vlambeer (Ridiculous Fishing) and Vanguard Games (HALO Spartan Assault) at Control Conference that takes place on November 19th in Amsterdam.
The developer focused conference is being organized by Dutch developer publication Control Magazine, will feature tracks on Code, Game Design and Art and will be completely in English.
Co-founder and publisher of Control Magazine, Matthijs Dierckx: “We want to offer in-depth talks on development and create a kind of intimate atmosphere, making it easy for attendees to meet and discuss with their peers.”
The conference aims to attract professionals as well as students. And for the latter, Control teamed up with incubator Dutch Game Garden, home to Vlambeer, Ronimo Games and Abbey Games (Reus).
The conference is offering separate sessions for students and juniors, although the keynotes will be accessible to everyone.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
