Mode 7 Games has announced that Frozen Endzone, the premier tactical futuresport game from Mode 7, will launch its public beta this Thursday, the 5th December. As the company noted, anyone who pre-orders the game will not only get access to the beta, but will also get 30% of Speedball 2 HD, which also launches on the 5th.
Frozen Endzone is the spiritual successor to the award-winning indie title Frozen Synapse. It combines the strategic depth of its predecessor with an elegant interface, completely original creative gameplay, and a thrilling future aesthetic.
Two teams face off in a randomly generated scenario. You must design a play to get the ball into your opponent’s endzone, using the stadium’s terrain to your advantage.
The full game will launch later in 2014 for PC, Mac and Linux.
Mode 7 Games has also released a trailer for its title that can be viewed below.
Enjoy!
