And he is back. After a number of teasing images, Cliff Bleszinksi has spilled the beans and unveiled the first details for his new game. Yes, Cliff is working on a new game – a PC-only game. The man that wanted Gears of War to stay exclusive to consoles and called PC gamers pirates is returning to its roots with an arena shooter that may be powered by Unreal Engine 4.
As iGR reported, Cliff revealed the first details of his new IP – codenamed Silverstreak – in a recent podcast. Silverstreak will be a PC-centric Arena FPS and is looking to utilize Unreal Engine 4 technology for it.
Now I know – a lot of PC gamers hate Cliff. On the other hand, a lot of PC gamers want to see a new Unreal Tournament. And even though Silverstreak is not Unreal Tournament 4, it may be the closest we’ll ever get to a re-imagined version of Epic’s classic arena shooter.
So, what will it be PC gamers? Will you back this project up or will you give the finger to Cliff?

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
