Oh I’m sure that most of our readers were disappointed the moment they found out that Fallout 4’s rumored teaser website was a hoax and nothing more. But let’s be honest here – deep down you already know that Bethesda is working on a new part of the Fallout franchise, right? Well, if you are uncertain about it, here is a confirmation. Fallout 4 is real and is set in Boston.
This information comes from some leaked documents that Kotaku got its hands on. Although the word ‘Fallout’ is nowhere to be found in those documents, there are some clues hinting towards that franchise.
First and foremost, the words “War. War never changes” – the classic introduction used at the beginning of Fallout 1, 2, and 3 – is spotted immediately. Moreover, a mission is set in the Institute — Fallout’s post-apocalyptic version of MIT — and references to other Fallout locations that have been mentioned but never shown in other games.
Naturally, Bethesda may change its plans and may not reveal Fallout 4 anytime soon. The publisher may even turn this into a brand new franchise for all we know. Point is that – at this point – Fallout 4 is real.
Enjoy!
