During EA’s Battlefield E3 event – that is currently under way – the big publisher confirmed that Battlefield: Hardline will support AMD’s Mantle. This come as no surprise given the fact that most Frostbite 3 games will support AMD’s API, but it’s still good to get a confirmation about it.
Supported by Frostbite 3, Battlefield Hardline will allow players to trigger jaw-dropping Levolution events. With its brand new gear weapons and gadgets, including the taser, Tyrolean and grabs, players are free to choose their tactics on each round. Preserving the intense fighting vehicles Battlefield fans expect, Battlefield Hardline introduces an urban approach with new vehicles.
Battlefield: Hardline is currently slated for an October 23rd release on PC, PS3, X360, PS4 and Xbox One.
The Closed Beta phase of the game has already been launched, though Origin’s servers are down – at the moment – due to the high traffic.
Enjoy!
