Techland revealed today that its upcoming zombie FPS title, Dying Light, will be releasing a month sooner. While the game was scheduled for a February release, the team unveiled that the game is currently planned for a January 27th release.
Dying Light is a first-person action survival horror game set in a vast and dangerous open world, where players scavenge for supplies during the day as to be best prepared to survive the night.
The game is powered by Techland’s in-house Chrome Engine 6 and will pack a physically based lighting system. This will – hopefully – allow Techland to not only create realistic lighting and shadows in the game world but also make the game world more authentic and immersive.
Enjoy!
