Resident Evil fans, get ready for a treat. The alpha version of Resident Evil 2 Reborn – a fan-made game based on the second part of Capcom’s series that is powered by Unity 3D – will be released today, and in order to celebrate it the dev team behind it has released a new trailer that can be viewed below.
This article will be updated with the download link once it’s available. Those impatient ones can go ahead and check the official FB page of this project.
What’s really interesting about this project is that it features two camera viewpoints: the classic one found in Resident Evil 1-3 and the modern-one that was featured in Resident Evil 4-6.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
