The official PC requirements for Resident Evil HD Remaster have been revealed via the game’s Steam page. As expected, PC gamers will not need a high-end system in order to enjoy this title (though we do have to wonder why there are reports of frame drops on current-gen consoles). Capcom recommends a quad-core CPU with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 560 or an AMD Radeon HD 6950 in order to enjoy the game (it’s somehow laughable that a 720p resolution monitor is listed as a recommended requirement though). Resident Evil HD Remaster releases on January 20th, and you can view both its minimum and recommended requirements below.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
