Codemasters Responds To F1 2015 Reports – Is Already Aware Of Some Issues, Working On Fixing Them [UPDATE]

F1 2015 and a number of users have reported various performance issues. We can confirm that SLI support is missing (though for that we have to blame NVIDIA and not Codemasters), however we have not experienced any inconsistent performance, controller issues or resolutions reverting back to 1024×768 or 800×600. Oh, and in case you’re wondering then no; F1 2015 is not as broken as Batman: Arkham Knight.

Still, Codemasters felt the need to respond to those reports and claimed that it is currently working on fixing some of those issues.

As Codemaster’s Community Manager wrote on Reddit:

“Hey everyone, just wanted to hop in and say we’re aware of a lot of the issues users are facing at the moment and the team are working on getting a lot of these bugs squashed as fast as possible.

As always we really do appreciate your feedback and patience with us while we get these sorted.”

Given the fact that we have not experienced any major performance issues with F1 2015, we’ll be sharing our PC Performance Analysis later this weekend.

UPDATE

Codemasters has released a day-one patch for F1 2015 (which is probably why we have not experienced any major issues with this game). This patch will be auto-downloaded and you can view its complete changelog below.

-Out of box settings appear to be too high on onboard Intel GPUs
-Graphics options do not save in certain situations
-When a player collides before or after resetting to track, they get disqualified.

-Tyre wear carries over from short qualifying to race between intermediate & option tyres
-Hang occurs when host backs out of Custom Lobby just before countdown finishes and loading begins.
