Ninja Theory announced today that it has entered the full production development phase for Hellblade. As the team pointed out, it has retired Hellblade’s vertical slice and moved on into full production.
Retiring a vertical slice and moving on into full production is good news. It is not starting again, it is moving forward as expected.

Naturally, a lot of fans wondered whether this means that the team is starting the game’s development from the start. Ninja Theory clarified, saying that this is not the case.

Hellblade is a new third-person action game that is coming on both PC and PS4, and Ninja Theory plans to offer mod tools for it on the PC.
