In case you’ve downloaded Battlefield 3’s beta, you’ll surely noticed that the Caspian Border is included in the map lists. According to EA, this map is currently password protected and is only available for internal testing but, there is a possibility that this awesome map might get opened for everyone during the open beta phase.
Now this could be mere speculation but Daniel Matros, Global Battlefield Community Manager at DICE, posted something interesting at the official forums about the inclusion of this map.
According to Daniel, there is a nice surprise for the PC forum family tomorrow. That is of course if things go the way they are intended today.
Now this clearly hints that Caspian Border might get unlocked during the beta phase. Good news, right? Now let’s wait and see what happens!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
