DOOM and NVIDIA fans, here is something special for you today. NVIDIA and id Software showcased DOOM running on the brand newly announced GTX1080. Now what’s really interesting here is that DOOM was running using the Vulkan API. As you’d expect, the game was running really smooth. In fact, when id Software uncapped the framerate, the GTX1080 was able to push more than 100FPS (and in some cases it hits 195FPS or more). Enjoy the video – sadly in potato quality given its off-cam nature – after the jump!
UPDATE:
NVIDIA has released the direct feed video of DOOM running with Vulkan on the Titan X. Enjoy!
