Great news for iD Software as RAGE has managed to sit on the first place of both the digital and the retail sales. The Sims 3 remained at the second place, whereas Fifa 12 lost two places. Still, it’s nice to see a sports title at the Top 5 and should prove to EA Sports that PC gamers can appreciate a next-generation and polished sports title. F1 2011 on the other hand has managed to win six places, while Starcraft 2 has re-entered the retail charts.
Moving on to the Steam sales, we can see that Dead Island and The Witcher 2 lost two and five places respectively. A Game of Thrones: Genesis is nowhere to be found and we were shocked to find out that both Fable III and the Maximum Edition of Crysis have re-entered the charts. Last but not least, Orcs Must Die and PayDay: The Heist are two new entries to the Steam charts.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
