American Zoetrope has released some new WIP screenshots for Apocalypse Now. And while these are WIP screenshots they look kind of… bad. In addition, American Zoetrope and Erebus announced that they will be moving the Apocalypse Now videogame adaptation project from Kickstarter to a unique, independent crowdfunding platform at its official website.
As the press release reads, the new crowdfunding home will serve as an entertaining and engaging space where fans and backers can get the latest updates and support the project through the entirety of the game’s development cycle, provide full transparency to the community and access to the people behind the game’s development.
For what it’s worth, its Kickstarter campaign has raised so far $172K. American Zoetrope aimed to raise $900K in total, however this funding goal won’t be achieved as the campaign ends in nine days.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
