Mortal Kombat fans, here is something for you today. There have been a lot of free Mortal Kombat games in the past few years, however, it appears that one had stood out. Created by Borg117, Mortal Kombat Project 4.1 is a polished MUGEN game that packs various improvements, and even enhances and alters some finishing moves.
Back in November 2017, Borg117 released a new version of his MUGEN game to the public. That version introduced Quan Chi to the roster, added Hotaru to the roster, added five new stages and brought some gameplay tweaks and enhancements.
Moreover, Mortal Kombat Project 4.1: Season 2.9 features some new Combat systems. Borg117 added Combat codes in the VS mode, the Aggressor meter that was present in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, a Braker mechanism that allows players to break an enemy combo, as well as transitions between floors.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
