Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. According to Activision, more than two million people signed up to participate in the beta phase of Call of Duty: Elite. And it was to be expected. I mean, seriously now. It’s Call Of Duty. Apart from all those haters out there, who wouldn’t want to give a shot at its latest service?
THQ is closing Kaos Studios – Homefront 2 plans revealed

Wow. That was quite unexpected to be honest. THQ announced yesterday that Kaos Studios will be closed. Kaos Studios was behind the successful FPS game, Homefront, that sold over 2.6 million units and exceeded all expectations. And it’s quite shocking witnessing its closure. Imagine what would happen if the game wasn’t successful at all.

Going Loud Studios announced today that their top-down arcade shooter, Lair of the Evildoer, has gone gold and will be released on June 17th. Although we’d expect to find this kind of games on the PC, the game will be released on XBLA for the time being.
