Recently AMD implemented a new Smart Access Memory (AMD SAM) technology for its Radeon RX 6000 GPUs and Ryzen 5000 series of processors. But this is not an entirely new technology, since it is based on the Resizable BAR open standard included by PCI-SIG in the PCIe 3.0 standard in 2008.

At the recent CES 2021 keynote, NVIDIA officially announced the company’s mainstream GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GPU in the Ampere lineup of cards. The GeForce RTX 3060 will officially launch on February 25th. This is the first GA106-based GPU which is equipped with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, and sports 3584 CUDA cores.

As you may already know, Polish game developer CD Projekt Red has been in the limelight since Cyberpunk 2077 was released on the PC as well as consoles. Intel’s senior Vice President, Raja Koduri, recently posted a teaser of the company’s first gaming discrete graphics cards on Twitter, the Xe HPG. Intel’s Xe HPG DG2 (High-Performance Gaming) gaming graphics card appears to have been tested in the new 3DMark Mesh Shader feature test by Intel.
