Awesomenauts is coming to the PC

A few years ago, Ronimo set out to create a great platforming MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game. This resulted in the release of Awesomenauts for XBLA and PSN a few months back. A great looking and addictive sidescrolling MOBA, a first for consoles. But ever since they’ve shown the first screens and videos, they’ve been getting tons of requests to also bring this game to PC. And we are delighted to reveal today that this indie title is coming to the PC and within a month everyone will be able to grab a copy of Awesomenauts on Steam. Metal Gear Solid 5 Unveiled In Comic-Con; MGS 5 is Project OGRE? [UPDATE]

You’re obviously asking yourselves why we’re bothering with MGS5. Well, MGS5 will most probably be a multi-platform title that will be powered by the Fox Engine, meaning that it might come to the PC. Let’s not forget that some MGS games hit our beloved platform a couple of years ago. So, today we got some leaked images of MGS5 that confirm its presence in this year’s Comic-Con. Fan-made video puts Halo’s Masterchief against Predator

This video is clearly not what you might be thinking after reading the title. YouTube’s member ‘freakinrad’ created an entertaining video in which Predator and Masterchief decide to find out who is the best in a series of unusual challenges. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [July 8th – 14th]

The latest UK PC Retail and Steam Digital charts have been unveiled and as we can see, Diablo III and ArmA II: Combined Operations are still the best selling PC titles. Although UK’s PC Retail charts – as usual – feature a lot of The Sims 3 games, Diablo III, Football Manager 2012 and Skyrim still sell better than EA’s casual games. The Secret World on the other hand lost eight whole places and is now spotted at the ninth place, whereas Modern Warfare 3 has managed to re-enter the charts and is at the tenth place. Warner Premiere secures rights for a ‘Hawken’ web-series

Warner Premiere today announced it has secured the rights to develop a web series for the highly anticipated futuristic mech shooter game “Hawken.” The game, available December 12, 2012, is set in a post-apocalyptic, over industrialized planet where humans are battling for dwindling resources. Initial plans for the web series will take fans through crucial events that spawn this grim fight for survival. Copper Media, a new division of Silver Pictures Entertainment, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and DJ2 Entertainment are attached to produce. Further details about the production will be announced in the coming months. Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase today announced that they will be co-hosting the Battle.net World Championship in Shanghai, China on Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, 2012. The Battle.net World Championship will bring to a riveting conclusion Blizzard’s 2012 StarCraft II World Championship Series, which comprises more than 30 national and continental tournaments around the world, and the World of Warcraft Arena global finals. Overgrowth Alpha 186 Changes; Potential Campaign/Tutorial Mode Added

Wolfire Games has released a new video for Overgrowth, in which the company’s main programmer, David Rosen, explains the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of the game. This week, David added ten early prototype challenge levels, an initial challenge level selection menu and added LevelSet xml files, which list a whole set of challenge levels to display in selector. Assassin’s Creed 3 PC will support DX11, dedicated team working on it, on track for October release

Ubisoft’s creative lead, Alex Hutchinson, has revealed in this year’s Comic-Con that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will support DX11. Hutchinson said that a dedicated team is working on the PC version and that the game will take advantage of many DX11 features. Hutchinson did not reveal what those features could actually be, but we expect to see tessellation support as this is the highlight of DX11.
