This is what a next-generation version of Quake 3: Arena could look like

3D artist Mark Harrington went ahead and created what could be easily mistaken with a next-generation version of Quake 3: Arena. Mark used Maya ZBrush to create Quake 3: Arena’s character – Orb – and the texturing was all polypainting. After creating the main character, Mark did the UV’s with UV Master and then GoZ’d everything into Maya for rendering. Mari0 adds dynamic split-screen support; New drooling video released

Oh boy, I love indie developers. They are full of fresh and original ideas and they always bring us something interesting. So, today we bring you a new video from Mari0, the amazing cross-over/mash-up between Portal and Super Mario Bros. Not only that, but the developer behind it has just informed us that the game now supports a dynamic split-screen functionality – that is also shown in this new video. The End of the World recreated with SimCity 4 and The Sims

Youcef Productions released a while ago a video that was made with SimCity 4 and The Sims and shows the destruction of Saint Orano. This video is the first destruction movie that is created with the aforementioned games and the first one that was produced by Youcef Productions. Saints Row: The Third Leaked One Month Before Release

Okay, this is really shocking – and at the same time disappointing – to say the least. The PC version of Saints Row: The Third has just been leaked to various torrent sites and no, this is not a joke. According to our sources, this is a Clone DVD version and weights around 8.56GB. Thankfully the game hasn’t been cracked yet but what worries us is that the cracking groups have over a month to figure out its protection system and crack it. Incoming MaLDoHD 3.0c; New Comparison Shots Released

After releasing its highly anticipated 3.0 version of his mod, MaLDo is hard at work again with the upcoming 3.0c version of MaLDoHD Mod. Although we don’t have any release date yet for it, MaLDo released some new comparison shots that can be viewed after the jump. As always, MaLDo has outdone himself and proves that a good set of textures can really make the difference. So Crytek, take notes from this modder.
