LightFish gone Gold and is out now on Steam; Demo Available Too

I’ll be honest here, LightFish reminds me of some arcade adult games I was playing back in the days. You know, New Fantasia and Miss World ’96. Instead of featuring naked women though, LightFish is all about flashy graphics and the old-school feel – something that some of you might have missed out. Dead Island – Latest Update Released; Introduces Crashes To Desktop

Techland had done it again. It’s hilarious, but we can’t help laughing with the crashes that were introduced by the latest patch of Dead Island. These are the same crashes that occuered to some gamers with the previous one, so obviously we’d expect it to be fixed. But no, PC gamers will have to show their all-mighty skills and edit a configuration file in order to enjoy the game. Ah, the beauty of PC gaming. MYTHOS Europe To Be Shut Down on October 27th

Sad news for fans of MYTHOS, as Frogster’s community manager announced that MYTHOS Europe will be closing its doors on October 27th at 12:00 CEST (11am UK). According to the team, MYTHOS enjoyed great popularity with the launch in April and the numerous registered users ensured a good start. The desired long-term success unfortunately did not follow and under these circumstances, they have made the difficult decision to discontinue the operation of MYTHOS. Miner Wars 2081 – Advanced Rendering Engine Revealed

Keen Software has just announced that their in-house VRAGE engine got some brand new hi-end features implemented. VRAGE now supports Image-Based Anti-Aliasing (FXAA), Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, Real spot lights with shadows, Sun light with much better precision, HDR, environmental textures, bloom/blur and Multiple monitor support. Tom Antos and DeStorm released an amazing rap music video for Battlefield 3. Nothing new here as we’ve some a lot of these, right? New Nvidia ‘Battlefield 3’ Drivers Coming Next Week

Battlefield 3 will be released next week and Nvidia is already preparing a new driver set for their graphics cards that will include performance enhancements and fixes for DICE’s little gem.
