Crysis 2 – MaLDo’s Upcoming Texture Pack versus Crytek’s HD Texture Pack

We know that some of you wanted this comparison and luckily for all of us, MaLDo released some comparison shots between his upcoming texture pack and Crytek’s HD texture pack that is currently available. Starpoint Gemini – New DLC Released For Free

Iceberg Interactive announced today that a new downloadable content has become available for Starpoint Gemini (PC), the tactical space RPG from game developer LGM Games. The DLC named “Gladiators”  is free to all players and features four new ship designs, 50 new special ship systems, a new sector of Gemini where the special tournament is held, a series of difficult combat situations and is completely free-of-charge. Hilarious Deus Ex video showcases what would happen if Deus Ex was built and based on Human Revolution

Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [August 28th – September 3rd]

As with previous week’s PC charts, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has managed to stay at the top and surpass the legendary and successful series, The Sims. On the retail front, The Witcher 2 lost some places this week and the new Sims title, Medieval: Pirates and Nobles, hit the seventh place. On digital sales, Dead Island moved to the second place and Red Orchestra 2 moved to the third place. CoD series made a come back as both MW2 and MW3 are in this week’s top 10 PC digital sales charts. You can view the charts after the jump. Project Reality: ARMA 2 v0.1 BETA Is Now Available

Project Reality Team has announced that the first beta of their Project Reality: ARMA 2 modification is out now. According to the team, this initial beta release should not be considered a final product. It should also be noted that this is v0.1 of a brand new mod on a new game engine and should not be compared in anyway to their previous Project Reality: BF2 modification. CSPromod 1.07 Is Out Now – Play Counter-Strike the way it was meant to be played

In Q1 of 2006, CSPromod was conceived as an attempt to bring a fully-customizable version of Counter-Strike to the Source Engine for the purposes of growing competitive play and broadcast spectatorship. This project arose from the opinion of many in the professional community that Counter-Strike: Source was lacking in many key areas, and could be vastly improved upon. Much of the Counter-Strike community had been expecting CS:Source to be original CS gameplay with better graphics, and unfortunately, that’s not at all what CS:Source ended up being.
