Official Serious Sam 3: BFE Requirements

Few days ago, we reported some system requirements that were posted at GetGamesGo. Naturally, we contacted the game’s publisher to find out whether those requirements were true or not. And today we can confirm that those system requirements are the official ones. It’s funny though because Croteam and Devolver didn’t mention the ATI/AMD cards at all – or the AMD CPUs – so we are wondering whether the game will be optimized for ‘green team’s’ cards. X Rebirth pushed back to 2012; New Details Unveiled

Deep Silver and Egosoft presented their upcoming space game in GamesCom and we have some interesting news for you. But first, the bad news; X Rebirth is pushed back to 2012. Although the game had previously a Q4 2011 release, it’s now confirmed that it will come out next year on the PC so space fans will have to wait a little bit longer. Rejoice From Dust fans; First FPS unlocker released

We knew that the PC community will find a workaround and that’s why we pointed out that ridiculous framerate lock that Ubisoft introduced in From Dust. Class3 is a zombie game that is powered by CryEngine 3; First in-game footage released

Undead Labs has just released the first in-game footage of Class3, their zombie game that is powered by Crytek’s CryEngine 3. This video is basically a “motion screenshot” that illustrates the game’s day/night cycle. Class3 promises to be a true zombie survival game where food, water, shelter, and ammo will be essential for your survival. The game will be an open sandbox world that develops in real-time, dynamically generating content based on your actions, the choices you make, and the ever-increasing zombie threat. Prototype 2 – New Screenshots Released

Activision released today even more screenshots for their upcoming third person action game, Prototype 2. Prototype 2 takes the unsurpassed carnage of the original  Prototype and continues the experience of becoming the ultimate shape-shifting weapon.  As the game’s all-new infected protagonist, Sgt. James Heller, players will cut a bloody swathe through the wastelands of post-viral New York Zero. The game is currently slated for an April 2012 release on PC, X360 and PS3! CryEngine 3 SDK Demo Environment: Forest Map Video

As we reported earlier this week, Crytek released the CryEngine 3 SDK for free. What we didn’t tell you however was that the company has also included an example map with the SDK, called ‘Forest’. Since a lot of you didn’t download the SDK, here is a video flythrough from this map that was captured by EvilKing13. More ArmA 3 Details; Underwater missions, changing uniforms, Greek Island Limnos as game’s new setting

Okay military sim fans, get ready as we have some brand new and interesting details for Bohemia Interactive’s upcoming game, ArmA 3. After the artwork of a Greek character – called Nikos Panagopoulos, we actually knew that the game would take place in Greece. And in GamesCom, the developers revealed that the Greek island Limnos will be the new setting for their acclaimed military game.
