Piranha Bytes and Deep Silver released a teaser trailer for their upcoming RPG, Risen 2: Dark Waters. Contrary to other teaser trailers though, this one sports some in-game footage. In fact, it’s the first in-game footage of Risen 2 so make sure to check it out. Oh… and is that Antony Hopkins as the narrator? Vindictus Europe Xtreme will be playable at GamesCom + Seven New Screenshots

NEXON announced that they will be displaying the Xtreme Edition of Vindictus for the first time at gamescom from August, 17th to 21st offering the first playable demo of Vindictus in Europe. The Xtreme Edition features a fast phased and action-oriented experience, unlike the original version, so don’t miss NEXON’s gamescom debut and join the fight in Cologne. F1 2011 – More Details Revealed; Driving aids whilst racing online will carry weight penalties

We are pretty sure that Codemasters will reveal lots of details about their 2011 version of F1 at this year’s GamesCom but Steve Hood, the game’s Chief Designer, decided to go ahead and share some new information via his Twitter account. According to Steve, co-op championships will only be available online rather than via split-screen and the career mode will be five seasons rather than seven. Lucent Heart Launches Tomorrow + European Launch Trailer

Gamania – Lucent Heart’s publisher – has just informed us that the game will open ‘Head Start’ Early Access on Thursday 11th August at 10:00am BST and will set the scene for ‘social adventurers’ to delve even deeper and further into the landscape of Lucent Heart. Indie retro RPG; Millennium 4 – Beyond Sunset Released

Aldorlea Games announced the release of the latest episode in the popular and award-winning Millennium RPG series, Millennium 4 – Beyond Sunset. Millennium 4 is the direct sequel to Millennium 3 – Cry Wolf, released in October 2010 and as the title suggests, it has a retro, 16bit feel to it so if you are a fan of all those SNES RPG’s you should definitely give it a go. Welsh indie developers announce Q.U.B.E; a brain-teasing puzzler

Toxic Games, a newly formed small independent developer based in Newport, South Wales founded by former classmates, began development of Q.U.B.E. as a student project in 2009.  All three core members are game designers with no programming expertise. Thanks to the encouragement of academic mentors and industry professionals, and with the help of the Indie Fund for start-ups, Toxic Games went from student hobbyists to independent developers upon graduation from university. Serious Sam 3: BFE To Feature Split-Screen Co-Op and Versus Multiplayer

Serious Sam fans, get ready for some crazy split-screen mayhem as Croteam has confirmed that Serious Sam 3: BFE will ship on the PC with four-player split screen campaign cooperative and multiplayer versus modes. This basically means that players can use a mouse and keyboard in combination with up to three game pads on a PC to battle together through the twelve levels of mayhem and go head-to-head in Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Survival, Beast Hunt and other multiplayer modes in Serious Sam 3: BFE.
