Indie Crafting Game; Lords Of Uberdark Alpha Download Available Now

First it was Minecraft, then came Terraria and here is today a new crafting game called Lords Of Uberdark. Lords Of Uberdark is basically a voxel-based mining / building / crafting game and at this point, it features arbitrary, non-blocky terrain and cartoon style graphics. At this point, we should note that Notch – Minecraft’s creator – has pointed a lot of people to Lords Of Uberdark, so kudos to Mr Mincrafter. Terraria Update 1.6 Is Out Now

Independent game studio Re-Logic released today the massive and highly anticipated 1.6 Update for Terraria. Its changelog is huge and can be viewed after the jump. Be warned though that it is… well… huge. This latest update brings improvements to the game’s gameplay and NPCs, adds new enemies, items, features and character hairstyles and features some minor optimizations. Console gamers will enjoy today Driver: San Francisco’s demo and will experience the return of one legendary series. Wait what? Did you say that you’re gaming exclusively on the PC? Overgrowth – Alpha 143 changes

Wolfire Games released a new video for their action adventure game, Overgrowth. This week, David Rosen – founder and lead programmer of Wolfire Games – showcases the new features of the game’s latest alpha version. Pockie Ninja gets new items, PvP challenge modes and a veritable treasure trove of other new stuff

NGames have revealed details of the latest version update to Pockie Ninja set for release on August 11th. According to the press release, the game will be treated to a bounty of new game modes, items, optimisations and more this Thursday, thanks to the release of the game’s latest version. The update will see several new items, equipment and PVP challenge modes added to the game, as well as multiple modifications to existing functions. Dead Island – Co-op Trailer Released

Deep Silver released a new co-op trailer for their upcoming zombie game, Dead Island. The game looks definitely great, although it’s pretty obvious it is influenced by both Far Cry and Left 4 Dead. This combination could work out and with a co-op mode, it might appeal to a broader crowd. Dead Island will hit stores in September so be sure check out this new co-op trailer after the jump. Miner Wars 2081 Editor Comes Out On August 30th + New Screenshots

Keen Software released today four new screenshots for their upcoming first-person action-survival space simulation game, Miner Wars 2081. As the title suggests, the game is set in year 2081 in a post-apocalyptic inner Solar System, approximately 10 years after the destruction of Earth. The player controls a mining ship and we should note that the game will feature a fully destructible and open-world environment.
